The Use of AI-based Tools is allowed for didactic reasons, but must adhere to the following rules:AI-based applications (such as Grammarly or DeepL) may be used to check for spelling and syntax. AI utilization that goes beyond writing assistance is not allowed. Support of AI for developing prototypes is also allowed to a limited extent, but has to be appropriately documented. Should there be suspicion of questionable and unauthorized use of AI tools, an oral discussion will be scheduled to verify the authorship and orgins of work. The overall mark is determined by group work, submission of assignments, exams, and active participation in class. The overall quality, completeness, and correctness of all these parts determine the final grades.Grade 1 – excellent:Assignments have been finalized and are of superior quality. Documents are excellently composed, exhibit professionalism, and demonstrate depth. Prototypes are of high quality and appropriately represent the main interaction sequences and functional elements. The student demonstrates a great deal of reflection and insight. Submitted work might have only a small number of weaknesses in terms of clarity, structure, or presentation.Grade 2 – Good:Assignments are complete and of high quality. Submitted documents are well-written and detailed. Developed prototypes are complete and only have minor flaws. The student demonstrates reflection and insight. The submitted work might have some issues related to clarity, structure, or presentation.Grade 3 – Satisfactory:Tasks are finished and meet quality standards, yet there are several aspects in submitted work that could be enhanced, e.g., clearer articulation in texts, increased thoroughness, and completeness of prototypical implementations. The work has issues related to completeness, structure, or presentation quality.Grade 4 – Sufficient:Work is largely finished and relates to quality standards, yet the developed material could benefit from clearer formulation, deeper reflection, and higher completeness/comprehensiveness of prototypical implementation. The whole work is characterized by issues related to completeness, structure, or presentation quality.Grade 5 – Failed:Work is unfinished, incomplete, does not adhere to quality standards, or there is suspicion of plagiarism and inappropriate utilization of AI. Arguments lack sufficient clarity and thoroughness; prototypical implementation does not appropriately represent the concept. The work has major issues in different dimensions.
