Students will acquire insights into selected psychological functions, effects and constitutions of the human mind. Connected to videogames and people in the videogame industry. They will develop a deeper self-awareness and contextualised understanding of human beings, presented and offered through various selected examples and game titles.Note: Detailed instructions on how this class is going to function are going to be provided by your lecturer. A psychological point of view on players, developers and games. Mental health, human mind mechanisms, wellbeing, toxic play, the videogame industry (as a workplace). Exploring selected aspects.Note: Some content in this course will include topics that some students may find offensive and/or triggering.
