Students shall become familiar with multimedia technologies on the examples of multimedia content authoring and processing (text, audio, images, video), web technologies and the basics of computer networks.This lecture has an accompanying lab class "180.811 (24) Introduction to Multimedia Technology (DMS)". Students are adviced to attend both courses, as lecture and hands-on exercises will be blended.
