Acquire physical background knowledge and experience in the computer aided design of mechatronic systems.
Inhalt/e
Computeraided design and optimization gains more and more importance in the developmentprocess of new products. A comprehensive knowledge about the physical effects and numerical schemes is essential for setting up useful numerical simulations. After an engineering oriented introduction to the mathematical modeling of materials, the students will learn to use numerical simulation to design andoptimize entire mechatronic systems. With respect to the development of “smartsystems” it is recommended to attend “Measurement Signal Processing” inparallel.
