After successful completion of the course, students will know:- to understand problems on ecological economics,- to apply tools and indicators addressed to policy makers: Causal changes, DPSIR, eDPSIR, System Dynamics modelling, water pluralistic approaches
Lehrmethodik inkl. Einsatz von eLearning-Tools
Lectures start with a description of the objectives of the day and introduction to the different topics. Different activities with the students are planned for each day: Writing; Presenting; Playing games; Computer modelling; Working in groups and individually; Video watching; Discussions; Visit to the National Park of Vesuvio (Italy) as case study is planned.

The aim of the course is to introduce students from different disciplines new scientific methods to enable them to present, model and represent complex socio-environmental systems.
Erwartete Vorkenntnisse
Good level of English is required (reading, writing, oral expression).Experience conducting interviews is an advantage.

Literatur
"Systems science and modeling for ecological economics" by Alexey Voinov (2008). The lecturer will provide some information from the book in class.To write the seminar work, please, read Academic writing by Felicitas Macgilshrist in Schoningh UTB (2014).Other material like data, scientific articles, videos, etc will be given in Moodle.
