The course mainly deals with legal, historical, and sociological developements of working women. The starting point will be the legal situation in various historical eras and context, and their impact on the performance of work by women and girls. On this basis, the current situation of women’s employment and labour is being analyzed and discussed. The issue itself, the circumstances of the cases, and the actual situation allow open discussion andcontroversy, in legal, economic and historical fields. Thus, due to the overalltopic, the participation of students of all branches of study at the University of Klagenfurt is possible, and they are welcome to contribute by bringing the knowledge of their fields.
