The students can explain basic facts about deafness and sign languages.They can interact confidently with deaf/hard-of-hearing people because they know what to do and what to avoid.They can list different aids for the deaf and explain their everyday use.They can list the "building blocks" of signs.They can explain the basic characteristics of Deaf culture.They can explain the terms "Audism", "Deafhood" and "Deaf gain".They can explain what happened during the most important events of Deaf history.
