After the course, students have acquired in-depth knowledge about the development of recommender systems. They understand the basic algorithms and they are able to build a small experimental system. Furthermore, students learn how to design an experiment in the form of a user study.
Lehrmethodik
The course consists of lecture units and practical parts, where the students work on the design and implementation of a user study in the form of a small project (team work).
