By the end of this course, students should:- be able to actively and accurately use the business-specific vocabulary and phrases that have been studied in class and at home;- have deepened their understanding of, and ability to produce, a range of grammatical structures;- have the skills needed to follow and contribute extensively to a meeting on a pre-assigned topic;- be able to conduct negotiations effectively, using a range of phrases studied both in class and at home.

Group and individual work, extensive self-study, vocabulary assessments, speaking and writing tasks and assessments.

Skills that will be developed throughout this course are:ability to participate confidently and effectively in a meeting,ability to negotiate,writing skills (awareness of formal/informal differences),reading skills (case studies, news articles),grammar (including tense and aspect, prepositions and relative clauses),subject-specific vocabulary (with a focus on phrasal verbs and idiomatic expressions).

General English proficiency on B2+ level.
