The Oxford Placement Test is a standardized language competence test linked to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) that measures lexical, syntactic, text-linguistic and pragmatic competence in English.
Lehrmethodik
The OPT is a standardized/computerized test which you will take on a laptop provided by E-learning. However, it is mandatory that you bring headphones (cable, not wireless!) to the exam for the listening comprehension component. The test consists of two parts: Use of English (British English) & Listening (American and British English). When it comes to preparation, it is recommended only to practice your English. Otherwise, there are various free tests in general, reading and listening to content in English, and generally practicing communicative skills.
