By the end of this course, students should be able to:- actively and accurately use the business-specific vocabulary and phrases that have been studied in class and at home- deepened their understanding of, and ability to produce, a range of grammatical structures.- follow and contribute extensively to a meeting on a pre-assigned topic- negotiate effectively, using a range of phrases studied both in class and at home.

40% Test (vocabulary, grammar, business reports) 40% Speaking exam   20% Engagement and interaction, preparation of self-study units, homework assignments  (throughout the semester)  PPlease note that - all of the four parts have to be positive for a pass grade- academic dishonesty (e.g. any form of plagiarism or use of Chat GPT and other generative AI to complete written assignments) automatically leads to a failing grade- if the authorship of any submitted text is dubitable, an additional oral exam will be set individually to validate the results of written work
