Modalities:The lecture includes exercises and the presentation of their solutions in practical classes. Practical classes:Publication of exercise sheets: Exercise sheets will be published in Moodle before the practical class, where solutions will be presented.Solutions of the exercises will be presented in the practical class by the lecturer.There will be mini-tests where tasks have to be solved, which are similar to tasks of the exercise sheets. Usually, one or two tasks have to be solved.Presence:There is no compulsory attendance, but attendance is strongly recommended.Exams:There are three parts to the final grade:Mini-tests, A written exam andA final oral examThe written exam is at the end of the term. A student is admitted to take part in the written exam only if ≥ 50% of the mini-test points are reached.The written exam will contain only practical problems.A student is admitted to take part in the oral exam only if ≥ 50% of the written exam points are reached.The theoretical part will be done orally.Grades:A student gets a grade for this course if he/she takes part in the written exam.Grading scale before oral examination, maximum points of written exam = 100%1: 87,5% ≤ total points 2: 75,0% ≤ total points < 87,5%3: 62,5% ≤ total points < 75,0%4: 50,0% ≤ total points < 62,5%5: Total points < 50%The final grade is positive if and only if:>= 50% of all mini-test points are reached.>= 50 % of the written exam is reached.The oral examination is positive. Based on the oral examination, the final grading is set.
