Students gain insight into entrepreneurial/business practice. The focus of the course lies on sustainability and the circular economy. After an impulse lecture with a guest from the business sector in October, the students will enter the project phase. Specifically, they will interview sustainable entrepreneurs from their countries or from a region (e.g. Carinthia) in small groups and prepare a poster presentation for the 'exhibition' in inspire! lab at the end of the semester. In January, a short trip to a sustainable company operating locally and internationally will be organized. At the end of the course, students should have acquired the following competences:- Gain knowledge of business practice in the context of sustainable business;- Gain a better understanding of the role of the economic actor in the circular economy;- Gain experience in field research.
