This class is focused on creating content within a certain niche, as well as best practices when posting to social media. It is a hands-on approach to filmmaking as well as how to market your content to a specific demographic, and how to grow a following online. 

There will be lectures, but this is very much a class that requires the participants to share their thoughts on what they like / dislike regarding online video content as you try to hone your creative voice. There will be a lot of group discussions and group learning by doing projects together with your classmates.

There is not a final exam, but a final video project which will consist of 25% of the final grade. 

Video project will consist of making your own series of 3 videos if you choose to create a social media brand, or one 3-5 minute Micro or Mini -documentary film. 

Grading for the final video project will be based on how well techniques learned from the course curriculum are implemented into the video(s).
