Prüfungsmethode/n
Students are expected to prepare a presentation on a pre-assigned topic and lead a discussion on specific aspects of that topic. They are then expected to hand in a written assignment which should include an extended analysis/commentary of their topic, as well as examples from different professional fields complemented by their own examples and translations.Moreover, there will be regular graded homework assignments.A written final exam will take place at the end of term.

Beurteilungskriterien/-maßstäbe
The final grade is made up of the following:- final examination - regular homework assignements - written assignment on individual, pre-assigned topic (see above) - presentation- attendance, participation, and preparation.Assignments and other homework is to be submitted on Moodle in a timely fashion. Failure to do so will result in failing grade. Plagiarism policy:Plagiarism refers to the use of intellectual material produced by another person without acknowledging its source. Plagiarism is a serious offence and students may receive an overall failing grade for this course if they submit plagiarised work (this includes the use of ChatGPT and other generative AI tools).
