This seminar consists of two large building blocks of grammar: morphology and syntax. It will facilitate students’ understanding of how word formation and sentence structure work in English and other languages. A special emphases will be placed on approaching morphology and syntax from different angles and learning how to apply this knowledge in specific research tasks.
