Students shall become familiar with multimedia technologies on the examples of multimedia content authoring and processing (text, audio, images, video), podcasts, computer networks and web technologies.This lecture has an accompanying lab class "180.811 (23) Introduction to Multimedia Technology (DMS)". Students are adviced to attend both courses, as lecture and hands-on exercises will be blended.
