This course outlines the importance of cultural differences in project management and is designed to improve the intercultural competencies of professionals working on projects in multilingual and multicultural contexts, e.g. international projects, global media, etc.The main objectives are to enhance competence for dealing with cultural diversity and to appreciate the advantages of a multicultural team. To develop skills such as proactive communication, meeting management in intercultural teams and conflict resolution.To learn about trust as a prerequisite for leveraging cultural differences and maximising the potential of a multicultural team.

Framework and Tool Kit approach Experiential Learning – an opportunity to apply the learnt skills in intercultural simulations The learning focus is not narrowed by a culture-specific approach, but rather on raising cultural and linguistic awareness in a broader context.Good to Know: Minimum Theory!
