This seminar aims to cultivate students' interdisciplinary collaboration skills by integrating theoretical knowledge of wisdom research and game development with practical application. Students will develop the ability to create video games designed to foster wisdom, while enhancing their capacity for critical reflection on interdisciplinary research. Through various teaching methodologies, students will gain a deep understanding of innovative approaches to applying research findings in game design.
Lehrmethodik
The seminar will utilize a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, peer workshops, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Students will collaborate with other psychology students and Master’s students from Game Studies and Engineering. Through this interdisciplinary approach, they will apply their knowledge during a two-day game jam, focusing on designing video games that promote wisdom.

In this research seminar, students will engage in practical interdisciplinary work through participation in the FWF-funded research project GameWise: Fostering Wisdom through Video Games.
